Exchange Private Email Folders -> Entourage 2008
Microsoft Server 2003 Enterprise Entourage 2008 Mac One of our users has private folders on our exchange server that she can access through webmail.domain.org. We are unable to sync Entourage to open these folders on our server to her entourage client. How do we go about making these folders available on her Entourage. Thanks!

This depends on the Exchange server version. Is it 2003 or 2007? If Exchange 2007, is it SP1 with Rollup 4 or later?Which version of Entourage is it: Home and Student Edition or Standard / Media Edition / Business Edition? And you are referring to Exchange Public Folders? Jon-Alfred Smith MCTS: Messaging MCSE: S+M

Exchange 2003 Entourage Business edition. I am referring to Exchange private folders- folders only accessible by the owner of the email account yet hosted on the exchange server.

With Exchange 2003 you cannot use Exchange Web Services, which in some case is a lot easier to set up, and which works through for instance the Outlook Anywhere publishing rule on ISA 2006.You have to use WebDAV: Connecting Entourage to an Exchange Server at workhttp://www.entourage.mvps.org/exchange/exchangeatwork.html Connecting Entourage to an Exchange Server from Homehttp://www.entourage.mvps.org/exchange/exchangeathome.htmlPublic Folder access is fully supported.Jon-Alfred Smith MCTS: Messaging MCSE: S+M
